Measurements are taken by hand, so an allowance of about 0.4–1.2 in is normal. Length is measured at the back, from the base of the collar to the hem.

Fit Tip: This jacket has a fitted, close-to-body cut. If you plan to layer a hoodie or a thick sweater underneath, or you prefer a roomier feel, we recommend ordering one size up.

How to choose your size: The easiest way is to lay a jacket that fits you well flat and measure it the same way, then compare it with the chart. If you'd rather measure yourself, wrap a soft tape around the fullest part of your chest, just under your arms. That is your body measurement. The garment chest in the chart should be a few inches larger than your body chest so the jacket has room for movement.
